National School Counseling Week 2020 is February 3rd through February 7th. The week, sponsored by the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), highlights the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems and the tremendous impact they can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career.
Here at the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD), we know that school counselors are an essential part of the school community. School counselors work with students in the areas of academic, social/emotional, and college/career planning. School counselors are advocates for students and SFUSD recognizes the value in the services provided to students and families.
