Gluten Free Bagels
Gluten free flour - 2 cups
Water - ¾ cup
White bean paste - ½ cup (optional, for better rise)
Sugar - 1 tablespoon
Yeast - 2 teaspoons
Yield 6 bagels
- Mix flour, yeast, and sugar
- Add bean paste, then just enough water to form a sticky dough
- Tip: add the water a little at a time, different gluten free flours take different amounts of water
- Divide dough into 6 pieces and form them into balls
- Press through the center of each ball to make a bagel shape
- Let rise 45 minutes to 1 hour, until doubled in size
- Bake 10 minutes at 375 degrees
