Community Celebrates African American Honor Roll Students

More than 1,500 students from across the district will be honored at the 27th annual African American Honor Roll Celebration in three Zoom ceremonies over three days, starting tonight (2/16/21). The student-emceed community celebrations, sponsored by the San Francisco Alliance of Black School Educators, will present students in grades 3-12 who are earning a 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) or higher. Students who have earned a 4.0 GPA will be given special recognition. Certificates will be mailed to all students and ancestral Kente cloths from Ghana will be mailed to 4.0 students in March. The event celebrates academic achievement and encourages students to keep striving for excellence.

Congratulations to all of our African American Honor Roll students!
