Each spring, we determine our annual budget to ensure that money SFUSD receives from the federal, state and county government is well purposed to prepare San Francisco’s children for college and careers. The budget proposal is reviewed and ultimately approved or amended by the elected members of the Board of Education. Learn more about  how the budget works.

School and community members are invited to help shape San Francisco Unified School District's budget for the 2018-19 school year by providing feedback on the Local Control & Accountability Plan (LCAP), the plan SFUSD uses to show how we will spend supplemental funds for high-needs students.

SFUSD is hosting a number of forums for community members to learn about resources provided to schools, and hear ideas for supporting students to succeed.
