Comment Policy

SFUSD welcomes and encourages comments on this site, but comments that violate our policy will be edited or deleted. Some instances in which comments will be edited or deleted are as follows:

Comments deemed to be spam or solely promotional in nature will be deleted. Including a link to relevant content is permitted, but comments should be relevant to the post topic.

Comments including profanity will be deleted.

Comments containing language or concepts that could be deemed offensive will be deleted. Note this may include abusive, threatening, pornographic, offensive, misleading or libelous language.

Comments that attack an individual or group directly will be deleted.

Comments that harass other posters will be deleted. Please be respectful toward other contributors.

Anonymous comments will be deleted. We only accept comment from posters who identify themselves.

Non-Discrimination Policy

San Francisco Unified School District programs, activities, and practices shall be free from unlawful discrimination, harassment, intimidation, and bullying based on actual or perceived race, color, ancestry, national origin, ethnic group identification, age, religion, marital or parental status, physical or mental disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, or gender expression; or on the basis of a person’s association with a person or group with one or more of these actual or perceived characteristics. This policy extends to San Francisco County Office of Education, including community school programs and activities.

A copy of SFUSD’s uniform complaint policy and SFUSD’s non-discrimination policy are available upon request.
